Round Tubes

Round (Furniture) Tubes are carbon steel alloys that are formed to a round closed shape that are used to perform structural functions. Round tubes differ from round pipes in the way they are dimensioned. A 1-inch round tube has a 1-inch outside diameter. A 1-inch round pipe has a 1-inch inside diameter. The reason being that the outside of tubes is used for structures and the inside of pipes is used for fluid flow.

Building Tanks

TANKS are either of square, rounded or rectangular profile, using mass-produced pressed steel panels bolted together to give an infinite range of sizes and capacities. This is a simple and transportable solution to the problem of bulk storage.

Multi-Storey Steel Buildings inherently adopt the same advantages that are described on our [Structural Steel] page such as providing large column free floor spans that promote efficient circulation space etc. However, there are some additional attributes such as flexible integration of building services & other requirements that can be adapted in design much more easily.

Steel

Black Steel Pipes are made of steel that has not been galvanized. Its name comes from the scaly, dark-colored iron oxide coating on its surface that prevents rust. Black steel pipes are cut and threaded to fit.
